Born & raised in Des Moines, IA as a first generation Taidam immigrant, Katy was the stylist for all her friends & family. Her passion for cosmetology stemmed from an awful haircut & dedicated her future to preventing others from having that experience.

She graduated from PCI Academy in early 2007, she has over 12 years of experience and specializes in nail art becoming an OPI Salon Ambassador in 2013. Continuing her education in the beauty industry every year to keep up with the latest trends including hair extensions, spray tanning, lash extensions and recently lash lifts & henna eyebrows. She has 5 years experience as a Lash Artist being taught by the owners of Lash Savvy, making her one of the first cosmetologist to learn this technique in Iowa.

Being a first generation Taidam immigrant Katy understands the importance of diversity & culture when it comes to beauty. She branched out to be a business owner in 2015 & does consulting for all your beauty needs. From doing your nails to lashes to wedding styling.

One of her blessings is having her clients become an addition to her family & continue to grow with more clientele throughout the years.
